Not your everyday Prosecco. Coste Piane are masters of the art of Prosecco made in the old farmhouse way - by the ancestral method, 'col fondo'. Unlike most Prosecco, which gets it sparkle in bulk, this finishes its fermentation in bottle and is then left on its lees. The result is a hazy, lightly sparkling wine with a lovely peach flavour and a very dry finish that is a world away from what passes for Prosecco in the supermarkets.
