Lustau are one of the most reliable and best sources of Sherry at all levels. At the top end, their Almacenista bottlings are among the finest and most fascinating wines of the region. An Almacenista is an independent producer/maturer of small stocks of Sherry. Lustau's Almacenista project seeks out the best of these and bottles their wine unblended as a limited release. These are therefore unique wines available only for a short time, and many are very old and complex. This Amontillado comes from a Solera of 38 casks, aged on average for 18 years. It is amazingly complex, with a very long, dry finish.
