Château d'Arlay was established in the 11th century, making it one of the oldest wine estates in France. The wines are appropriately old-school in the best possible way, drawing on centuries of winemaking tradition in the Jura. Farming is biodynamic and the wines are frequently aged for extended periods until they are finally deemed ready for release. The Pinot Noir is made from old vine fruit and is superbly crafted, with gorgeous fruit and perfect balance.
