Fratelli Alessandria Barbera d'Alba 2015
Fratelli Alessandria is that rare thing in Piedmont - a traditional, top class producer whose wines are still under-the-radar. Quality across the board is superb. Winemaking is traditional and the wines are structured, ageworthy and beautifully poised. The Barbera is a lovely example of the variety, made with fruit from 20 year old vines in Verduno.
