Cascina Roccalini is run by Paolo Veglio. His family have owned this tiny estate in Barbaresco since 1920, but he is the first to make his own wine. Farming is organic, and the quality of fruit is exceptional, reflected in the resulting wines. This is everything you want from a Langhe Nebbiolo. It is densely flavoured with lovely richness, fine powdery tannins and excellent balance.
