Blanc d'Argile is a stunning Champagne, not unlike a lightly sparkling version of a great Chablis, which in fact is what it in part is. The fruit is a combination from Anselme Selosse's Avize vineyard and a Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru. It is very dry (no dosage) and tightly wound, with a phenomenal, bracing freshness. Fascinating on release, its structure suggests it could really unfurl if stashed away for a few years.
