Roberto Voerzio is one of the best of Barolo's modernists. His top wines are impressive and powerful - and expensive. But perhaps the Voerzio wine that offers the greatest pleasure to value ratio is his Barbera. It is a beautifully made red with bright fruit, rich yet elegant. Barbera doesn't get any better.
Fermentation with ambient yeasts. 12 months in oak (30% new) and 8 months in steel before release. Unfiltered.
