Vieux Télégraphe make classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Named after a nearby tower built in in 1793 by Claude Chappe (inventor of the optical telegraph system), the vines are planted in a small area named La Crau. Télégramme is the second wine, made in a more approachable style and sold at a more affordable price, it is nevertheless still deep, complex and ageworthy.
