Thomas Morey 2018 Bourgogne Chardonnay
Some of the best places to find value in Burgundy now are in the Bourgogne-level wines of small, quality-minded producers. Step forward Thomas Morey, a member of one of the most illustrious winemaking families in the region, and owner of a precious nine hectares of vineyards, mainly in Chassagne-Montrachet. This Bourgogne Blanc is made with fruit from two plots near Chassagne, and it punches well above its weight. With lovely flavours of stone fruit complemented nicely with some oak influence, it is a very fine white Burgundy at a great price.
