Domaine Tempier is virtually synonymous with Bandol. Lucien Peyraud and his wife Lucie Tempier spent their lives establishing it as one of the great wines of France, and ensuring the Mourvèdre grape variety became an essential component of all Bandol. Tempier's estate red is now a classic, combining concentration, finesse and longevity. It can age and improve for at least ten years from release.
40+ year old vines. Fermented with wild yeasts in stainless steel. Matured in large oak casks (25-75hl) for 18 to 20 months. Unfined and unfiltered.
