Each of the three single vineyard Bandol's made by Tempier is a great wine, but for many La Tourtine is the best. From forty year old vines on a south-facing slope, it is perhaps the definitive embodiment of Bandol, from its best producer.
South-facing slope with 40 year old vines in the village of Le Castellet. Matured in large oak casks (25-75hl) for 18 to 20 months. Unfined and unfiltered.
