Telmo Rodriguez is best-known for travelling Spain, discovering hitherto neglected ancient vineyards and restoring them to their former glory. He has produced some of Spain's finest and most exciting wines. After trying and failing to buy an old vineyard of Monastrell in Alicante, he decided instead to make what he calls 'a good, simple wine, as in the days of the great wine traders'. The result is a rarity - a wine of character, quality and interest at an everyday price.
Fermented in stainless steel and cement tanks with indigenous yeasts. Aged 6-8 months. No oak.
