Suertes del Marqués Trenzado 2021

Suertes del Marqués (along with the other leading producer on the island, Envínate) have taken Tenerife wine from obscurity to worldwide acclaim. Working with ungrafted old vines planted in the island's unique volcanic soils, they are producing some of the most exciting and talked-about wines on the planet. Trenzado is one of their 'village' wines, made with fruit from a selection of vineyards with vines up to 150 years old. It has a wonderful smoky (volcanic!) quality with wild herbs and citrus flavours. Long, complex and fascinating - if you a fan of Chablis and/or Jura Chardonnay then this is for you.
