Stein's Alfer Hölle is from a tiny parcel of ungrafted Riesling vines planted in 1900 on a steep slate slope above the Mosel. These very old vines produce exceptional fruit, which is always fermented as a Feinherb (i.e. just off-dry) wine. The result is a Mosel Riesling with perfect balance, many layers of flavour and great ageing potential.
