It's a well-known fact that the world's great sweet wines are absurdly undervalued. Sweetness is not fashionable, so no-one buys them. But give somebody a taste of one and they're almost always amazed. Wine has been made on Samos for thousands of years, and their best is Nectar, made from sun-dried grapes and aged at least six years in oak. It's a heady, rich and complex drink, as well as being difficult to produce, underappreciated, and very good value.
