Domaine Pignier has been certified biodynamic since 2006, and was organic for long before that. Marie-Florence and her brothers Jean-Etienne and Antoine are the seventh generation of winemakers here, and the wines are some of the best in the regioin. The 'Cellier des Chartreaux' wine is named after the 13th century cellar they use for ageing. It is a traditional, 'sous voile' wine aged under flor (as in Sherry). It has remarkable freshness and depth.
