Brothers Marco & Giancarlo Petterino make traditional Nebiolo from fruit grown on their tiny (2.5 hectare) Gattinara estate. Farming is organic (uncertified) and the wines undergo extended ageing in large, old oak casks. They are generally bottled at about ten years of age. These are superb, full-bodied, classic wines which age slowly. They demand food.
