Morgadio da Calçada Colheita Port 2009
Dirk Niepoort says that he had often passed Morgadio da Calçada, a fine 17th century manor house, and wished he could make their wines. Lo and behold, they had the same idea and it is now one of Dirk's many projects. It's a very fine one at that, producing brilliant wines across the board. The Colheita is a Tawny Port from a single vintage, a very complex wine with amazing balance.
