The Fenouillèdes is an ancient route between France and Spain, and on this route, high up in the foothills of the Eastern Pyrenees, sits Le Soula. Started as a joint project by legendary Roussillon winemaker Gérard Gauby and his former UK importers, Richards Walford, Le Soula produce outstanding wines from very old vineyards. The red is their best-known wine - a benchmark, ageworthy Roussillon.
Very old vines, between 350 and 600m above sea level. Aged in large oak barrels (50% new) for 18 months.
