La Stoppa in Emilia-Romgna, not far from the Trebbia River, make delicious, authentic wine from native grape varieties, farmed organically. Trebbiolo is their young vine red, made with a blend of 60% Barbera and 40% Bonarda. It is fresh and tangy, but with a richness and weight behind it and fine, silky tannins. Perfect for the table.
