With a name like Mysterio (sounds mysterious, right?) you know you're in for something a bit different. This is orange wine - made by leaving the skins of Assyrtiko grapes harvested from a single, very old vineyard, in contact with their juice. The result is a first for Santorini - a naturally made Assyrtiko with an orange tinge. Lots of citrus fruit flavour, some tannic grip and wonderful freshness. This is a serious, compelling wine from one of Santorini's most innovative wineries.
Single 100+ year old vineyard in Pyrgos, the highest village on the island. Fermented with the skins, and left on its lees for ten months.
