The Jamet name is inseparably linked to Côte-Rôtie. Two brothers - Jean-Luc and Jean-Paul - ran the family domaine together for twenty years, making some incredible wines. They have now gone their separate ways. Jean-Luc has half the vineyards, but is starting again with a new label. As well as Côte-Rôtie, he produces this, a modestly-classified wine from a single vineyard outside the official Côte-Rôtie boundary.
Single vineyard on a high plateau above Ampuis with schist soils. Little oak ageing. Kept for four years in the Jean-Luc Jamet cellars.
