For more than 500 years, the Chaves have been making wine in the Rhône. Their most famous, their red Hermitage, is one of the world's greatest wines. Under the label 'J.L. Chave Sélection', current generation winemaker Jean-Louis Chave also makes exceptionally good value wines using bought-in fruit.
'Mon Coeur' may not be Chave Hermitage, but it is one of the best Côtes-du-Rhônes money can buy - a serious wine, juicy, fresh, with fine grained tannins and impeccable balance.
Sourced from four different vineyards located around Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Fermented in stainless steel and aged up to twelve months in 228l old oak barrels.
