Pedro Rodríguez is the man behind Guímaro. Until 1991 his family sold the vast majority of their wine in bulk to local cantinas, but under the influence of Luis Buitrón and later Raúl Pérez, Pedro has transformed the domaine into a top source of authentic, characterful wine. The Joven is a well-known bargain, made from multiple plots of Mencía vines with an average age of 40 years. It is juicy, fresh and delicious.
