Finca Allende make superb Rioja, both red and white, from vineyards farmed sustainably with organic fertilizers, and ho herbicides. The red is 100% Tempranillo from 45 year old vines. It is aged for 14 months in French oak before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. It is a lovely, characterful example of Rioja.
