Envínate Albahra 2021
Envínate are best-known for making some seriously good (and ultra-fashionable) Atlantic wines in the Canary Islands and Ribeira Sacra. But Albahra looks to another sea - and fortunately it's the Mediterranean. The main grape is Garnacha Tintorera (also known as Alicante Bouschet), from three vineyards at 800m altitude. It's a fresh, elegant red with a subtle red berry flavour. If you owned a fashionable wine bar, you'd be selling gallons of this by the glass.
