Romaric Chavy is one of the best young winemakers in Burgundy, and the wines offer great value. He is best known for whites, but this Bourgogne Rouge from a vineyard ('La Taupe') near Pommard is a real gem. Juicy and easy drinking, yet a wine of serious refinement.
