If Greece had a Grand Cru system, Dalamara's 'Paliokalias' vineyard would be one of the first names on the list. It is right in the heart of the best winemaking region in northern Greece, and includes a block of vines which were planted in the early 1920s. In the hands of Kostis Dalamaras it consistently produces one of the finest wines in the country. Greece's answer to the finest Barolo.
