If Greece had a Grand Cru system, Dalamara's 'Paliokalias' vineyard would be one of the first names on the list. It is right in the heart of the best winemaking region in northern Greece, and includes a block of vines which were planted in the early 1920s. In the hands of Kostis Dalamaras it consistently produces one of the finest wines in the country. Greece's answer to the finest Barolo.
Single vineyard in Naoussa with vines up to 85 years old. Fermented in stainless steel and aged for twelve months in 300l French oak barrels (20% new).
