Cota 45 is a small winery on the waterfront in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. The UBE range looks to Sherry's past for inspiration, to a time when some of the best wines weren't always fortified. Like classic Sherry, it is aged in oak barrels where a layer of protective yeast (flor) develops, but no spirit is added. The result is a lovely wine with a combination of apple and toffee flavours and a refreshing, salty tang.
