Alain Tourenne took over Château Beynat in 2008, immediately setting about converting the estate to organic farming. He obtained certification in 2011, and has now adopted biodynamic practices as well. The wine is 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc. It is fermented with wild yeasts in cement tanks, where it is aged for 15 months. This is a lovely fresh, natural Bordeaux.
