Vorberg is one of the sites in the running for a proposed 'Grand Cru' classification. If it happens, it will be richly deserved. This 100% Pinot Bianco is one of Cantina Terlano's best wines. A full-bodied, rich wine, it is quite restrained in its youth, but with some cellaring opens up into a gloriously complex white. A bargain to rival good white Burgundy.
Hand-harvested, southwest-facing vineyards between 400 and 900m above sea level. Around the village of Terlano near the Austrian border. Fermented in large (30hl) oak barrels. Aged on its lees in traditional wooden barrels for 12 months.
