Nova Domus is the big brother to Cantina Terlano's entry-level wine, 'Terlaner'. The blend is the same but the vines are older (around 40 years) and the wine is fermented and aged entirely in large old oak barrels. The step up in quality shows. This is a beautifully harmonious, rich wine with the potential to improve with many years in the cellar. By any measure, this is a serious wine to rival the best that Burgundy can offer.
Hand-harvested, southwest-facing vineyards between 250 and 900m. Around the village of Terlano near the Austrian border. Old vines (average 40 years). Fermented in large (30hl) old oak barrels. Aged 12 months on its lees in a large oak barrels.
