Benjamin Leroux's Gevrey Chambertin comes mainly from the Les Seuvrées vineyard, so is a genuine village wine. The quality of the fruit shows - it is delicate and scented with a wonderful texture and freshness to balance. So typical of Gevrey, it is moreish already, but like all top wines from this village is a fine candidate for cellaring.
Two hectares spread over several vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin, planted between 1935 and 1995. Aged 18 months in a beautiful and very large (35hl) oak foudre.
|Blend||100% Pinot Noir|
