Vinhos Barbeito was founded in 1946 and is still run by the same family. It is one of the most interesting and best Madeira producers, making a wide range of different styles with a trademark balance. The Boal Reserve is a five-year old Madeira, blended from various lots. It is medium-sweet with a lovely rich, nutty flavour.
