Finding a good orange wine under £20 is not that easy, but this Baglio Antico Catarratto is worth the effort. 100% Catarratto from Sicily, it is a great introduction to the style, with a lovely tannic grip, fresh acidity and a (surprise surprsise) orange colour. Delicious stuff on its own, but orange wines work so well with all sorts of food it deserves a place at the table.
Skin contact for a few weeks, wild yeast fermentation. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
