Au Bon Climat 2019 Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir
- 12 in stock
The late Jim Clendenen's Au Bon Climat have been making Burgundy-inspired California Pinot Noir (and Chardonnay) for more than 30 years. For much of that time, the house style was out of favour in most of the US, but it's a different story today - now Au Bon Climat's fresher, lighter wines are absolutely of the moment. This is a textbook example from the Santa Maria Valley. Lovely cherry fruit, a touch of spice, great freshness and excellent balance, it's an utterly delicious Cali Pinot from a great producer.
