ARPEPE are seriously old-school artisan producers. They have to be. Their alpine vineyards are on sheer, south-facing granite terraces that simply have to be worked by hand. In the winery, the traditional approach continues with gentle winemaking in old chestnut barrels. Their Rosso di Valtellina is an early-drinking wine made with fruit from their lowest altitude Nebbiolo vines.
