In the far south of Sicily, the SP68 road runs past Arrianna Occhipinti's home and provides a convenient name for this utterly delicious natural wine. Andrea has been making wine here for at least ten years, under the tutelage of her uncle Giusto Occhipinti of COS Estate, one of the island's leading lights. SP68 Bianco is a delicious, easy-going, rustic white, full of citrus and floral character and with a little tannic grip thanks to some skin contact.
Fermented with ambient yeasts. 15 days of skin contact. Aged six months in concrete vats.
|Blend||60% Muscat of Alexandria, 40% Albanello|
