Penalva make the sort of house wines you wish every restaurant had on their lists. They are at once lively and refreshing, but also elegant and with a distinct sense of place (in this case Portgual's Dão region). The white has gorgeous fruit flavours, a chalky texture and a moreish, slightly sour finish that make it perfect with food.
