Regular price £21Altaroses used to follow Priorat in style - thick, full-bodied and oaky - until around 2012 when the two brothers who run the estate, Josep and Joan d’Anguera, decided on a radically different approach. Inspired by some of the lighter Garnacha starting to emerge, they set out to seek drinkabiity, elegance and charm. Altaroses is a gorgeous, pure wine, packed with ripe red fruit flavours and a wonderful delicacy. It is made to drink on release while young and fresh, and can be served lightly chilled.
