Brovia Barolo 'Brea Vigna Ca' Mia' 2017
- 2 in stock
Brovia have been making top Barolos since 1863. Today, the approach is traditional, but the wines are full of life and energy, consistently some of the best in the region. Farming is organic, fermentation with wild yeasts and there is no fining or filtration. The excellence extends right through the range. At the pinnacle is this wine, their 'Brea Vigna Ca' Mia' Barolo. Made from a single vineyard owned entirely by the Brovia family, it is a simply outstanding example of top Barolo from a very fine producer.
Youthful mid ruby. Minerally, concentrated cherry fruit nose with hints of black pepper. Fresh red-fruit palate with great depth, and yet elegant and with gorgeous, long coating tannins. Great length and tannic grip and sensationally balanced.
