Arianna Occhipinti 2019 SP68 Rosso
Regular price £25In the far south of Sicily, the SP68 road runs past Arrianna Occhipinti's home and provides a convenient name for this utterly delicious natural wine. Andrea has been making wine here for at least ten years, under the tutelage of her uncle Giusto Occhipinti of COS Estate, one of the island's leading lights. SP68 Rosso is a fresh, wild cherry and raspberry-scented blend of 70% Frappato and 30% Nero d'Avola, made with all organic fruit and minimal intervention in the winery. Served cool (cellar temperature) this is a juicy, bright red with a joyful, bracing freshness.
