Château Lafon could not occupy a better position in Sauternes. The Château and some of its vineyards are completely surrounded by those of the greatest of all sweet wine estates, Yquem, and Lafon even use ex-Yquem barrels. The wine is typical Sauternes - golden in colour, rich with flavours of apricot and almond - it is made to be delicious on release but could certainly be cellared. Excellent value.
