Sandro Fay is one of Valtellina's true artisans, crafting a range of alpine Nebbiolo that beautifully showcase the variety of the region's vineyards. Il Glicine is a small (one hectare) vineyard located in the Sassella subzone, one of the best areas. It is a stunning example of how good Valtellina can be - a version of Nebbiolo with amazing energy and balance.
Single hectare vineyard at 470m. Fermented in stainless steel. Aged 12 months in 500l oak casks.
