Château Thivin Côte de Brouilly 'Les Sept Vignes' 2021
In 1877, Zaccharie and Marguerite Geoffray bought Château Thivin two hectares of vineyards on Mont Brouilly. More than 100 years on, and with various plots of vines added over the years, the family still run the business and make the wines. Les Sept Vignes is blended from seven plots, and as well as Gamay the includes a small amount of Chardonnay for additional finesse. It is a well-established classic, one of the best value wines in Beaujolais, beautifully balanced with vibrant cherry fruit flavours and racy acidity.
