Charlie Herring The Bookkeeper Blanc de Blancs 2018
Tim Phillips is the man behind the Charlie Herring wines ('Charlie Herring' being a fictional character created by Tim's father). In 2007, Tim Purchased an abandoned 19th century kitchen garden in Hampshire, which he has planted with various grape varieties. Production for these handmade wines is tiny and information hard to come by, but this is a fascinating project and they are always worth seeking out.
