The island of Samos, a mile off the Turkish coast, has been producing wine for thousands of years. Their trump card is exceptional sweet Muscat, and the best is Nectar. Nectar is made with sun-dried grapes and aged in oak. This special bottling of the 1980 vintage has been in barrel for thirty years. It's a world-class wine, a rarity, and wonderful value.
Selected vineyards at 500m and above, planted on traditional dry stone terraces. Sundried for 15 days, then pressed. Aged 30 years in oak.
|Blend||100% Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains|
