Argyros' Cuvée Monsignori is the new name for what used to be called their Estate Assyrtiko. The Monsignori vineyard contains ungrafted Assyrtiko vines which are around 150 years old - the oldest on the estate. 80% of the wine is fermented in stainless steel, 20% in French oak where it is aged for six months. The balance is superb, with the subtle oak influence adding complexity without overwhelming the fruit.
