La Vigne Haute is Jeff Coutelou's 100% Syrah, and one of his best, most ageworthy reds. Fermented in stainless steel, unoaked and with little or no added sulphur, it is an extraordinarily pure example of Syrah - the blackberry fruit flavour just soars out of the glass.
